I don’t blame the players, not at this level anyway as long as they don’t behave like Winnall did. Short career & players like Moore & Hourihane are securing themselves for the rest of their lives with the contract they get when they leave us. I’ve no doubt Cryne & our current owners have egged on players we’ve been interested in & their agents to push for moves, it’s just the nature of the game. Bit **** but it’s the way it is. I think it’s just a bit sad that clubs like ours won’t have any ‘legends’ in the future because no one stays more than a couple of seasons. Even the stars of our last two promotions won’t really be remembered that fondly as they couldn’t wait to leave.
