Went to the MacMillan Coffee Afternoon at Oakwell this aft. What a great event, just about all the first team squad were there, as were most of the backroom staff. You couldn't wish to meet a nicer set of young lads, they happily signed shirts, posed for photos, chatted, played games with young children and generally seemed to enjoy themselves. They were there a good 2 hours, Daniel and his mates, and his wife, a bit longer. Well done to all of them!
By the way, Dimitri Caveré was there, chatting with Daniel Stendel and the rest of the squad, and having a good laugh playing with awestruck young kids.
my parents went along too and said exactly the same, spent about half an hour chatting to Daniel and felt the players were a credit to the club. well done BFC forging relationships with the community that support them through thick and thin!
