Outstanding speaker. Spoke truth to power which isn't always wise in 20 century Britain. But understood his role and his obligations to Parliament and carried them out. He will be missed.
I suspect that after probably at least half a dozen pages this thread will divide along the usual Brexit/Anti-Brexit lines. What might be mentioned is that amidst Bercow's so-called partisan rulings, all he has ever done is permit MP's themselves to vote on whether to depart from precedent. If MP's choose so to do, that is their right - in line with the well-established principle of the sovereignty of parliament. For me, he has been a brave and independent speaker.
The fact he has “fans” shows he totally misunderstood his role. Good riddance to him. Only downside will be his inevitable countless future appearances on talk shows
So good riddance to somebody who has ensured that Parliament maintains Sovereignty, and you’vecalso posted elsewhere that you will be glad to see the back of the Labour Party. Mmmmm, now let me see.
Correct! Rule Britannia! Vote Farage! Free Tommy Robinson! Make Britain great again! Dennis out, sack the board! Get Rammel on!
Not by me he won’t. The end of the road for the self centred little man. He realised that he was not going to be unopposed in Buckingham (as dictated by tradition). Good riddance.
What do you think is going to become of Britannia the next time Scotland have an independence referendum should you succeed in dragging us out of the EU?
Everyone forgotten the extensive bullying then? Best example ever of small man syndrome. Up for widow twankey in the panto this year.
You mean you don't want to answer. Keep waving your Union flag while you can and don't come crying when you've destroyed it.
