Title says it all. I'll still go to the home games as my ticket is paid for but unfortunately I've lost every single little bit of interest. The owners should be worried because I'm not alone, theres 1000s the exact same. They've completely torn the heart out of a winning team, infact, they've torn the heart out of the full club. The fans are down, the players are clearly down and the management must be on their knees. If this is what they've bought us to do then that's me done, I will not be lining their pockets to watch us get relegated, then get promoted, sell the players who got us there, buy unknowns, repeat repeat repeat. It may seem well over the top, but this is shambolic. I dont blame the players, they're good players but they're not good championship players. I dont blame the management because they've had their tools taken off them, and in some cases IE Keiffer Moore, not even replaced the tools. Conway, Lee and the rest of you lot. If this really is 'most successful transfer window in the clubs history' then **** me! I understand that players will leave, but they've left for pennies in comparison to what other clubs recieve. Were a laughing stock.
No they like fans that only watch victories, mate. Ohhhh and they're owned by lads with questionable views on women so tha'll fit reyt in, Son.
I understand your frustration and like your school of thought.. I agree the owners ought hang their heads in shame... Couldnt agree more re selling the gaffer and his coaching team short... For us the supporters they have treated us with contempt.. Taken the pound notes and then treated us like fools...
Is that so? Funny, I remember going to Maine rd in the 90s. 30k there win or lose, and the majority of the time they did lose. You're a bizarre one you, putting words in my mouth yet again. However, if you are happy to be force fed this tripe by the owners then fair enough, sounds like youd fit in well in North Korea.
You went to Maine Rd in the 90s? You said you were 27 t'other day? Tha go in a napsack? Forcefed what tripe?
People will say get yourself off to Man City for stating facts etc! We can’t just expect ambition off the owners management etc but we need ambition off fans Aswell. Barnsley it seems to a few people getting beat all the time is acceptable and signing Sunday league youth players to replace experience is acceptable. No other teams are like it...they have ambition. I said from Carlisle. Their players were individually better than ours. Just got back anyhow I think I’m off to the shop haha
Ah, I forget children arent allowed to go to football games. I went in 96 and 99. 99 I think we lost 3 nil or 3-1. If you cant see what's happening then fair enough, but 1000s of others can. It's simple, sell your best assets and your going to struggle. Money doesn't come into it, look back to the promotion season wi hecky, we went up and smashed teams around for fun for 6 months until we sold out best players in January. We smashed wolves 4 nil who spent 15 million quid on one player. It's all about momentum, and we had good momentum in the squad we had, but the owners chose to sell them all. Were getting short changed so badly. Again, I dont blame the players. They're clearly trying, but were not anywhere near good enough. I'd be gobsmacked if we finished any higher and 24th.
"momentum" providing Connor Hourihane is being paid 35k a week by Villa; Winnall 15k. You're right, though, nowt to do with money. They are now in the PL. What is their average attendance? I just honestly think you should put your name in to the hat when Stendel goes....you're an untapped source. No money need, Chien. I have momentum, with me. Either, you're a troll or mental.
Another one with no stamina. The only laughing I’m doing is towards such as yourself with your negative drivel.
Wow, and you are calling me mental. Incredible. Let's rewind. We had momentum, we also had hourihane on 4k a week at that point and winnall on around 3k. Stating what they now earn has no relivance whatsoever. Wolves average attendance counts for ******* nothing, Bournemouth get 10k a week but smashed Everton about who get 42k a week. Attendances mean absolutely nothing. I'm still gobsmacked I've been called mental by a character like you. Also, as for being a troll I've posted on this board for alot of years, alot of the people on here know me personally too. I'm no troll. The question could be turned around on you though... Your logic 'John stones isn't a good footballer because at one point he only earnt 700 quid a week'
You said 'come back after 10 games and see where we are at' Were getting close pal. 2 more games to find out what we are made of.... however, we all know what we are made of.
Sit and think on it a few days mate. It’s never an ideal time to contemplate your future as a fan a few hours after a defeat. I do feel sorry for Stendel though, we were in a right pile at the start of last season and he’s took the tools he was given and made them work superbly only to see those same tools sold off and replaced with build it yourself *****.
Honestly, I don't know what you're point was. If we hadn't have sold CH and SW they would have left for nothing. We decided to sell rather than let them go for free. I referenced their current wages because that's what they left us to get — we could not afford to pay them that. I thought that was clear? Bournemouth are 70 million pounds in debt, as things stand. That's why their attendance does not matter — currently. Attendances matter if you wish you to be both solvent and successful. Currently Bournemouth are successful. They are not solvent. I'm glad you have friends, and that you think I am a character. What does the John Stones thing refer to?
I agree pal, it's always raw straight after the game. However my problem isn't with the players or the performance, because they're coming closer. I imagine when we go down again this season, this side will thrash league one about for fun.. The issue I have is thinking back a few months ago at what we had in our ranks, a very solid team with a big heart. It could have been kept together so so easily, I know that for a fact, 10000%. We should have kept that squad together and added Thomas, wilks, radlinger etc etc I cant help but think 'here's what you COULD have had' but weve chosen to tear apart the side, put our ha ds over our eyes and hope that it doesnt end too badly. The reality is that it's going to end extremely badly, and January is a long way away with alot of games to be played... we could be miles behind the rest at that point. It hurts that's all. I honestly thought these new owners would stop the fire sale thing, but they've just made the sale bigger than ever.
