Whoever was controlling him in the stand.

I don't want to see him in the team again this season.

    Shocking.

I feel sorry for the lad, he's being played out of position and in a league that's way above his standard.

He's just not good enough at the minute but its unfair to throw him under the bus. The blame lies elsewhere.

Totally agree, the lad looked to be totally out of his depth. That will be the easiest hat trick Watkins
will ever score in his entire career. Our defending was absolutely woeful.

Agreed although I have been poking fun at him, he's very much the symptom not the cause.

Not sure he was out of position he is supposed to be a left back that's where he was played although someone could have told him that never seen a player stray out of position as much.

He must have been out on the lash last night based on that showing.

Poor comments from BBS fans re Williams imo. There’s a decent player in there, and at this level. I felt for him today. Had a shocker but kept on going. Tried to keep his head up but there’s no one out there talking to him, encouraging him, pushing him on. No leaders On that pitch today.
Dreading Wednesday . Best i’m Hoping for is for 11 players to come out of that tunnel and give it their all. Show some pride in themselves and the shirt. We were poor today but we’re better than that.

Not saying it would have made much difference but would have rather started the game with Cavare on the left and Williams on the right .

Mate, he had a shocker, summed up around the 75 minute, when under no pressure, he kicked the ball aimlessly and weakly nowhere near a red shirt. It was so bad, i actually laughed.

I’m not saying he was Maldini. I’m saying a bit more leadership on the pitch wouldn’t go amiss if we’re to get out out this shitstorm.

Williams plays better on the right with Brown ahead of him, they link up really well. Brown also plays better with williams than he does with cavare.
The whole left side is a problem and has been for a long time since Hammil and White were on song. The best weve got at the minute is Ben Williams and Wilkes but both have weaknesses as a pairing, Pinnilos Thiam is unfortunately not going to work in this league, definitely an area to strengthen in January.
J Williams had a bad day today but he hasnt let us down before and shouldnt be the scapegoat for this team performance.
