    Wow that's sobering.

"We can only play similar to the last games – especially the second half in Nottingham – but after this it was not good enough to keep the points here."

Can't fault the honesty and I agree with him. Sadly I do not believe the level we are playing at will be enough.

I hope we give it a right old go on Wednesday evening to try and get the three points. However, if we lose again then I would suggest Stendel packs the defence for the Preston game and goes negative to try and nick a point minimum. If that doesn't work and we still concede soft goals then we're pretty much ******!

Of concern.... "Brentford played so much better and they found an easy way to break our press."
Is press our plan A, so if this can be "easily" broken then where do we go, plan B? Which is what?

Brentford changed the formation during the game which then worked for them and took control of the game. I have watched carefully as teams have spotted that we are weak down our left and start to play more on that side as the game goes on. Fulham did it but others have had the success there. Be interesting to see how many goals we have conceded by attacking our left side as crosses or cut backs. I have a feeling we will soon go 1 up top or play more down the middle.

A midfield 3 of Dougall, Mowatt and McGeehan May work as a 4-3-3 and also get 2 of the front 3 to come back into midfield when we are out of possession.

That formation should still allow us to press but also drop deep if required.
