Andersen: “We just need that one moment to go for us.” Club News Defender's pre-match thoughts Central defender Mads Andersen believes the Reds just need ‘that moment’ to turn recent results around. Continue reading on the official site...
He’s a very young kid from another country who has left behind his friends and family, has hardly any experience and is trying his best. It’s not his fault we’ve thrown him in as first choice and asked him to play against players like Martin who has schooled every centre back we’ve played against him. Blaming the players isn’t going to help, however much instant gratification you may feel.
No mickey intended but I keep reading fatalbert as lethalfart. You talk more sense than I ever do and I totally agree.
Yeah mate we need a moment of not gifting the other team needless goals... sadly we give the other team about 5 opportunities a game.
It's not his fault. Should have been beside one of the three experienced central defenders we let go.
While what you say is true, it doesn't take much experience to know to clear a ball when you get it in your own box
hes had a shocking performance to be fair but he’s a young lad and the bench/under 23s are there for a reason. No need to discard him.
In the moment tonight he’s made bad errors which I would expect league 2 defenders not to make, so regardless of what should or shouldn’t be, what is is his inability to defend.
I can understand that, we all are, but not sure a young lad trying his best should have to read something telling him to go home. Fair play 2nd half, he’s still trying, still committing, got to give him credit for not going awol.
There is no industry in the world where you'd put a complete team of new starters working on your most important project. Even if it's objectively easy work to do, they'll obviously be nervous and make mistakes. This is like putting all new starters on your most important project when you know that every mistake has the potential to cost you a month's turnover. It's not fair on the fans, but it's definitely not fair on the players.
