Doesn't sound too good, commentators say it is still going on, whether they can see whats happening exactly is another matter
If i remember rightly they have to give CPR for a long time even if there is no response or a doctor can declare. Must be an ambulance on the way or something?????????
Everyone should get to go home after the football. Sickening image to witness someone getting CPR, it didn't look good at all, not a big religion person but I'll genuinely be sending some prayers for the person in the ponty.
Where's the ambulance?? I understand it must be difficult to move him but theres an ambulance parked at top side of west stand for pitys sake. If someones life is at stake, stop the game and get the ambulance on the pitch. Hope hes ok, my thoughts are with him toneet.
Praying whoever it is can come through this. Special mention to the lads who ran down to the front and cleared the way for the response team to get to work. What has infuriated me, leaving the ground a good few minutes after the game had finished only then was the ambulance turning into the ground. Ridiculous, the incident occurred in the 70th minute.
That's terrible. I didnt realise something had happened there was just an announcement about an ambulance in the South stand.
There’s always an ambulance to the rear of the West Stand. It must have been not suitable to move him on medical grounds rather than anything else. If an Air Ambulance was needed, he would have got it.
Somebody isn't having a chicago town pizza and watching news at ten with their loved ones tonight. Puts it into perspective.
Yeah my post was inappropriate really. I should’ve thought about it before i posted. What you say will be spot on. Devastated to hear the news.
There was enough medical staff there to make the right call. If the game needed to be stopped or abandoned it would have been - like it was last year. Sometimes you just have to make them stable and comfortable and restrict any movement if not urgently required. I’m glad we scored a last minute equaliser in front of him to give him a better send off. Only small thing, but it’s something if that makes sense.
