How have we managed to fill a team with such slow players? I'm guessing pace doesn't make it on to the spreadsheet.

Why we play with such a high defensive line too is beyond me. Asking for trouble with no pace at the back.

1 1 we should have shup up shop and defended deep and hit them on break with wilks and chaplin. Instead we just self destructed. Worrying.....

What the highlights don't show are the numerous excellent saves he did make.

Didn`t watch or hear the game Jay yesterday, however he turns his head and watches the ball go past him and his arms fail to move, my opinion based on a couple of games I`ve seen and highlights.

I only listened, but it sounded like there was only Collins standing in the way of Preston being out of sight by half time.

he was the difference yesterday between conceding 5 and double figures. The only one who came out with any credit.

Good to hear, Davies used to do the same but he still hed me worried when ball came into area. Hope Collins can improve on this.

Alright, just watched that through. Every goal gifted to them on a plate. This has to be zonal marking but the zones are obviously not where any of the attacking players are so the defence just mill about while they score, no sense of urgency except for ben williams. Sibbick on their 3rd/4th/5th goal whichever one it was has 2 chances to punt it clear like any defender worth their salt would have done but no, twice he fcked it all up. I dare say i have a better footballing brain that most of these players.

I went yesterday and can confirm if it wasn't for Collins we could've been going into half time 2 or 3 goals behind. Played very well first half.

All 5 of the goals are utterly pathetic from our point of view. The 1st, 4th and 5th in particular are just embarrassing beyond belief. I can recognise the players are trying their best most of the time but the last 2 goals there's zero effort from anyone to stop them. Really disheartening seeing what we've become in such a short time.

Sibbick completely out of his depth, at fault for every single goal. First goal, failed to recognise that he needed to mark Johnson who was alone in the box. Second goal, got dragged out of position, ball played round him like a fvcking mannequin. Third goal, got completely dragged out of position again, simple ball over his head. Fourth goal, dragged out of position AGAIN. Fifth goal, caused us to lose position in front of our own goal with a pathetic pass.

Part of what I noticed yesterday. When either team broke from halfway, Preston were a lot more clued up, had the runners, knew where they were.

We on the other hand.. .

I used to love watching the highlights. Can't do it any more. It's bad enough remembering it. Looks worse on the telly.
