This is exactly what I'm trying to say, sound analysis.

I’d actually like to see Mowatt in that role as well but to be fair to Stendel because of McGeehan & Dougall been unavailable he’s had to play Mowatt deeper.

I’d like to see Mowatt ahead of a 2 of Dougall & McGeehan after the international break

I think it’s clear that everyone at the club have to take responsibility and be accountable for their own area. Our head coach is also a rookie at Championship level and we all know that. If we fired him who do we think could do a better job right now. If we keep him does he have the tools to succeed? I suggested a few weeks ago a more senior person put into a director of football. A old head who could help the coaches and also help the owners who also have never managed in the championship to recruit and bring more reality to our plan to be more successful. Needless to say many saw that as an investment too far. Modern game this role isn’t unusual, but for us it maybe it is.

I'm the same. I just think he's been given a **** hand, hence why he keeps shuffling his pack to try and improve things.

It's more the quality than the tactics for me as well. We're just not good enough at either end of the pitch.

We have plenty of possession, but create little and not only do we concede avoidable goals, we invite teams onto us with poor passes out of defence. Halme was guilty quite a few times yesterday.

Stendel needs a couple of veterans in the team as much as the players do... we need leaders on the pitch

It’s all down to zonal marking. Our defenders mark their given zones, but the crafty, cheating attackers don’t run into the zones they’re supposed to. And there you have it.

I think there is no doubt that our position is down to the players and the coach
It is the gaffer that is pulling the strings , so how come our defence is non existent
Against Preston we were woeful and slow to react.
This is occurring regularly and nothing being altered..
He says we will put some hard work in in the window break.
Well we have said that before...
    Results just the same
I do think Stendel is now becoming aware that he is a little out of his depth in thisleague

I probably would as well especially now we’ve got McGeehan back & Dougall should be back after the international break. I don’t think we’ve had the personnel to really tighten up even if we wanted to.

I’d like to see a midfield 3 of McGeehan, Mowatt & Dougall with Brown, Woodrow & Wilks ahead of them with us playing a bit deeper but I don’t know if it’ll make much difference
