For all their collective wealth we may as well be owned by somebody with modest wealth who actually cares about the club and shares the vision and ambition of the fans.
To be honest we might as well be ran by somebody that's got nothing. It's not as if the money we are using has come from anywhere but from the club anyway. Millionaires, billionaires or tinpot makes no difference. At least if it was someone who was tinpot and connected to Barnsley the feelings amongst us may be taken into account. To give someone the tools to do a job and expect miracles I've no idea who would want such a job
It has to be said, when you pick apart the lack of investment or significant commercial progress, there's absolutely no reason a consortium of fans would be likely to do any worse than our current owners. They'd be working with the same resources. Just a shame we haven't got the millions they'd want to sell the club.
