    It genuinely is a disgrace, absolutely smacks of contempt and bitterness towards a man who re-united the fans to the club last season, got us promoted with a record points total and did a lot of work for local charities AND immersed himself in the local community.

    Just when i thought they couldn't sink any faster, the board manage to fool me again.

    It shows a total lack of respect for us the supporters. These public statements aren't made for those involved, they're made for us. They're written specifically with us in mind. And this is what they think we should/deserve to hear?

    I bet Conway isn't at the Fanzone for the Swansea game. Disgraceful 2 sentences, no idea what's happening with Stern/Tonge, no idea what's happened and didn't have the decency to thank him for all he's done for us. Imagine sacking one of our most successful bosses ever, a few days before he's got a court case. Talk about unsupportive. When he said we aren't good enough for this league he was only telling the truth.

    I firmly believe that was the best Club Statement in the history of the club. It is a significant improvement on previous Club Statements and no longer are we developing Club Statements which only have financial value for other clubs.

    You're right. How Barnsley FC perform on the pitch has little or no objective effect on my life. As I get older, the more I can put this into perspective. However, it doesn't change the fact that the club appears to be being run absolutely shambolically, by people who should know much, much better.
