    Seems like good timing both going the same day. Maybe he did walk expecting to get Sunderland job. Might explain the statement we put out. I’d give the board a tiny bit more sympathy if he had walked rather than was fired but still he has had poor support so wouldn’t blame him

    If Stendel wants to stay in the UK and earn a lot - Sunderland are the club.

    I don’t think any German clubs interested in Stendel could match a Sunderland offer financially.

    Sunderland would be crazy not to approach him, if they haven’t already.....

    I’m not sure they are cash strapped though, regardless of the takeover.

    They had a big clear out, which was needed after watching the Netflix Documentary!
