Summarising directors decisions to date: Hecky pushed out - awful. Morais signs - chuffing horrible. Stendel signs - great. Recruitment policy - bleeding terrible. Stendel sacked - WTF. Not looking too clever is it ?
A fair summary of their efforts so far. How long left including injury time? Never forget the Ipswich game, 3 up with 10mins left.
Hecky -17 matches without a win. Morais signs - He couldn't galvanise a squad devoid of confidence. Stendel signs - He gets us promoted, played some excellent stuff in League 1. Recruitment policy- done to death. Stendel sacked - Had he not been sacked the board would have eventually come under scrutiny anyway. Nudger being wound up - Priceless
Jeez. Hecky 17 matches without a win - had his team sold from under him. Stendel 10 matches without a win (probably would have lost 17 matches if he stayed) - had his team sold from under him. Are you saying that makes Hecky and Stendel bad managers ????????
I think you will find that debate has been done to death on here. And BTW Dawson - you need to get off my case. You are very much resembling a keyboard warrior, school yard bully.
A bad run does not make people bad managers, however sometimes a club has to make changes to try to break the run. Look at Man U, Mourinho sacked, Solskaer(can’t spell it), went on a good run. He’s certainly not a better manager than Mourinho, but a change helped.
Totally agree .Craig Shakespeare took over at Leicester from Ranieri when they were looking perilously towards the drop.
They and Stendel got lucky. They appointed him in league one and gave him something to work with. Similar with Woodrow, who still looks a good player but is struggling in a league one team at a higher level. I don't think they know their arse from their elbows when it comes to our 'soccer' and different divisions, but they're welcome to prove me wrong - hopefully in my lifetime. They are either being ill advised, have a load of 'yes' men around them or are totally ignoring any offers of advice. I firmly believe they thought they'd 'completed it' when we got promoted last season and thought any old rubbish would do for the fans.
The football this season reminded me of war films where an army attacks get the other on the retreat, charges down the hill only to be ambushed at the bottom. The football in 2017 reminded me of an army forming square only to be eventually breached. Neither had any in between.
People on here know that I don’t single anyone out. Yer can squirm as much as yer want - I know what you are - and you’ve just added another item to that list.
Does that equate to a win on the "away goals rule"? (I.e. anything that winds Nudger up counts double?)
Sorry nudger I disagree with that score discription... Youve missed the biggest own goal in the history of our club in my opinion..lol
