That's all come from football forums/Twitter but tries to make it sound as though hes spoken to the journalist lazy arses.

How does "Donald said last night: “I’m sure he’ll be somebody that we’ll potentially look at" suddenly become "Sunderland chief Stewart Donald confirms axed Barnsley boss Daniel Stendel is in line to replace Jack Ross"? Set of tossers.

Why wouldn't they make contact? They were in the same division as us last year and saw what he managed to do. Of course any club looking for a manager is going to sound him out now he's unattached.

I am finding this curious how the same people keep digging at this without any basis of evidence at all, yet continue to suggest the board should not be questioned.

If official comment or trusted reports emerge, then by all means, push that agenda.

But at this stage no credible reference has emerged, quite the opposite in fact when you consider Gally and Goldthorpe red are pretty accurate, yet a handful want to keep suggesting this is the reason for his departure without a single shred of evidence in the public domain.

Seems highly hypocritical in my opinion.

Which has caused legal wranglings behind the scenes, which lead to the curt statement yesterday... Who knows, eh...
