What IF Daniel Stendel breached his contract and the board were left with no option other than to let him go, would all those who are slating the board offer an apology?
No because that should have been explained - even if diplomatically - in the interests of communication. Nature abhors a vacuum.
I'm slating the board still due to not just sacking stendel, but selling our top scorer with 4 days left replacing him with a bloke who cant get a game, selling our 2 centre halfs replacing them with players with no experience Infact every signing is on a 4 year deal in hope of future profit something I don't agree with aswell as stopping the loan transfers as it doesnt make the club money. Micheal brown summed the stendel sacking up on efl "what were the board expecting with the resources he was given"
Can I ask you one? Why would you fabricate a scenario that besmirches the reputation of a man that led the team we support to promotion and gave us such good times?
Hey listen I thought DS was best thing that’s happened to us for 20 year and I’m still disappointed he’s gone, but everyone is jumping to conclusions when they no **** all facts
They're not. They're criticising the board for not explaining the situation, for being kept in the dark.
If you disagree with my interpretation... You're saying it is a fact that Daniel Stendel breached his contract. You're saying it is a fact that the board had no other option than to let him go. Or you agree with my interpretation. Which is it?
Absolutely not. If there was a genuine reason to let him go then fine, release a statement explaining the situation. It didn't even need to be detailed, most would understand there may be sound contractual reasons why they couldn't go into detail. The very least they should have done was thank Daniel for his service last season but there has been absolutely nothing since that unacceptable two sentence impassive announcement they first released.
You’ll see I’ve used the phrase ‘what if’ twice in my posts......a thought this is what forums are for, create conversation? Can you show me where I’ve said it’s fact that Daniel Stendel breached his contract??
I think it's becoming a little obvious that something beyond him leading us on a terrible run of results cost him his job. The statement earlier from Murphy refers to things they can't explain. Suppose we shall never know unless one of our moles on the forum can fill us in.
No because they still could have thanked him for his achievements while expressing the need to part ways.
Do you think that may have happened? For what it's worth i definitely dont and find your scenario strange.
