Quite surprised we managed to sell that many so well done to all those who are going I will settle for paying £10 and hoping the player feed works
Me too. We haven’t even sold out Huddersfield yet which really is poor. No great surprise given our form I suppose. A positive result tonight could see us shift them.
Got to take my hat off to those going to WBA tonight. I fear it will be a fruitless trip and am not even sure I fancy shelling out a tenner for the feed tbh. I have already seen us get spanked there more than enough for one lifetime, including the horrible 7-0 in Clarke's last game in his second spell. I travelled up with a mate from university in Colchester for that horror show.
I would be shocked if we sold out 2,200 at thirty quid a pop with our form this season. Hope we do though.
WBA's ground is the highest football ground above sea level in the four top divisions. (with apologies for the irrelevant post!)
Oldham are second. In other news West Brom are 1/25 to score against us tonight...... https://m.skybet.com/football/coupon/10011180
Buxton is the highest in England..... https://www.theguardian.com/footbal... Inglis's definitive,551 feet above sea level. Apparently Oldham is only third.
Our 2-0 win there in the season we were promoted to the Premiership was memorable when Clint scored both of our goals. Another standout for that season was our 2-1 win at Maine Road against Manchester City. Heady days indeed.
If I didn't work about 3 miles away I'd have chalked **** on it too. I'm still sat at my desk at work...but will be drinking ale very soon.
In The Wellington in Brum now, 3 pints in after 45 mins. Not sure I'm gonna make the game at this rate
