I'm afraid. Don't give a sh*t that they're top of the league because we made them look garbage for 55/60 minutes and should have been out of sight. Feel a bit for the lads but yet again basic defensive errors have cost us. Those two dropped points could be crucial come the end of the season in determining whether we stay up or not.
Everyone could start on minus 2 against us we would still manage to **** it up. Things do look better as I always like to point a pro out when I’m sounding negative
So early in the season I regarded this as a free hit. We got a point in theoretically our toughest game of the season, and have looked like a team thoroughly capable of competing against (apparently) the best in the league. I'm more than satisfied with tonight, but we need to progress these points into wins now
https://www.flashscore.co.uk/match/hIyUshnr/#match-summary Can't hang on to leads with barely twenty minutes left, thrown away another two points like when we should have won saturday and the FA will no doubt have noted our lack of discipline with seven yellow cards. Can't be happy with a point when we are winning comfortably by two goals in to the last quarter of the game. Our players were too heavy legged and clearly aren't fit enough.
Have to disagree with you. Before the game I'd taken a point absolutely but from 0-2 up it feels like another loss. We made them look ordinary for long spells. We have to cut out the defensive errors or we won't keep another clean sheet this season.
Good grief man , have a look at yourself ! You’ve started a thread saying they were gonna win when they got a goal back and now this !! We were bottom and almost beat the top surely that’s a positive in anybody’s book ?
I would have taken a point absolutely before the match started but then you change your expectations as the match progresses and from 0-2 up we should have won it.
The confidence and self belief will be oozing out of em now, two results like theyve had will do them the world of good going i to saturdays game
The team of young lads have taken the best team in the league to a draw on their patch. They are not fit enough??? Christ man they have just had two gruelling matches against top teams a ground out two draws. They have run there selves into the floor. Not fit enough, are you real and understand fitness
Failed to use the bench appropriately. Could have used it to slow down the game and improve our chances. Bringing Wilks on (who is a waste of a shirt) and then Williams for Woodrow (Odd) then not making a third change. Probably the reason he didn’t make it as a manager of Mansfield and Boston.
2 points better off from the last 2 games than if we hadn't made a change. We look far more organised, just need to reduce the errors.
