Very good performance by us. One error by Diaby. A multitude of refereeing errors in WBA favour. We are not meant to be in this division by the powers that be, Utter disgrace of a referee. He may as well have had a baggies shirt on in the second half. Biased lovely person.

The positive is that we made them look very ordinary for so long. As I said in another post I would have 100% taken a a draw before kick but you adjust your expectations as the match is ongoing and at 0-2 we should have won. I do feel a bit sorry for the lads who ran out of steam a little towards the end but it is more costly errors. Don't get me wrong, these last two games have seen some real positives but we can't throw away winning positions like this much more. Finger crossed we get the three points on Saturday.

It's the "board out" crew, they've had a fecking brilliant 2 weeks to vent anger and personal abuse - they just can't bring themselves to applaud the team for their past 2 performances.

Good value for 2 nil lead disappointing to see lead disappear but far more positives tonight in a fast entertaining game.

It was plain to see that Diaby and Cavare were knackered after 60 odd minutes and the momentum of the game was changing.
The lads played brilliant tonight and gave everything they had, we just didn't have enough quality on the bench to come on and steady the ship.

Which we have drawn 2 games. Not the sign of a new messiah tbh.

I don't think we had anyone on the bench good enough to slow the game down.

Against 4th and top - you'd have to be pretty special to think that's not impressive after the disastrous start we've had.

The positive for me is we starting to give teams a game ,
I’m far more overjoyed at the performances and commitment than the result tbh.
I’m more confident going forward that we not gonna lay down and die ,
The Preston performance left me jaded tbh and I feared the worst but after last two games my faith is restored.
I still think we have an uphill battle especially with the amount of bookings we’re shipping but as long as they’re fighting I’m hopefull.

So far we've played 10 of the top 12 teams, with a much changed (young) squad. We've played 3 out of the bottom 11. We now look to have a tactical awareness. I now have hope.....

    Imho...brilliant point!
Well done lads....we were out on our arses by about 65 mins but a fantastic first half and a well deserved point.
Players coming back all did well...cavare looked jiggered by the end...but they got through it. System certainly suits us better with these players. Hopefully Halme back for weekend and another game for our trio, dougall, cav and diaby.
Oh btw please please keep woody.......CLASS.

Time will tell. I don’t think our form is going to radically improve just because we play against teams lower placed than teams in the same league in what is one of the most competitive leagues in Europe.

The change of formation and tactics might help though, any new manager coming in will see the changes that were needed.

Vast majority on here said we'd lose both these games. We've taken two points. We've competed well in both. Against what were to my eyes two quality sides.

I'm proud of the players and staff.

Big improvement in both games. Just a shame that we don't have another Dougall.

on paper looks like a good point. And fair play to AM who is doing well with what he has got to work with, but when you’re bottom of league and now into the #newmanagerbounce (which usually lasts a month or so) and you still can’t win any football match. every game we make an excuse these are top or near top of league: Leeds, Swansea, Preston, West Brom, Sheff Wed etc) they are just Championship football sides and they have to be beaten for us to stay up. Woodrow has probably just secured his January transfer. One win in 15 or 16 games now.
Or maybe we’ve just watched loads and loads of seasons of football and heard it all before a million times

If we could somehow sneak a win at Hudders on Saturday then it will have been a fantastic week and a great confidence boost.

Absolutely when you play well you must win. When you play **** you try and scrape a draw.
