Think we've signed a gem here. Not so sure why DS started Radlinger before him. He impressed me more during the friendlies. Looks to have a good all round game in him.

One of our better summer signings. His performances have deserved far more clean sheets than he's had.

Think Radlinger was a DS player as he had a good throw on him and could get it started quickly from the back. I liked him and thought him mads and Diaby were beginning to understand each other before he got injured.

I do like Collins too though.

To be fair to say how bad our defending has been we’ve done fantastic business to get in what looks like 2 good keepers both on free transfers. Think Collins is going to be a really good find rated by Burton after season long loan and looks to have the all round game (sweeps/good kick/shot stopper & handling pretty good) definitely a positive from our summer signings!

Super signing, probably our best bit of business, although I do think Chaplin is underrated.

Cracking signing but I also think Radlinger’s a good signing. We’ve done well in the keeping department.

My only issue with Collins was that his game management was a bit daft. Even when we’d been under the cosh he’d throw the ball straight out when we really needed a breather but he’s stopped doing that after his first couple of games

Looks like a good keeper, although i thought he should have done better with West Brom's second, looked like he could have kicked it away to me.

Aside the derby game at home he’s been fantastic, but then again I can’t fault Rads either, we’ve got two top drawer keepers. I think it’s going to be a tough ask for Rads to get that number 1 shirt back. Regarding game management I thought against West Brom his was excellent, not the best to see when a player is wasting time but he got every second out of the referee before he decided to book him.

As said above though I do feel Chaplin is a very underrated signing from this summer, he’s going to be some player him I feel.

I’m very happy with Collins but I do think Radlinger is slightly better on the small samples seen.

As said above, I thought he could have done better with West Brom’s second, and before that he dropped a routine cross when unchallenged.

He got away with it but on another day would have been tapped in

I think both look quality prospects, the reason i believe Stendel decided to go with Radlinger over Collins was because his distribution looks top dollar and in the fast pressing system that Daniel liked to play, that was key.

Also being fluent in German would've helped his cause as Stendel could get his tactics and issues across better and then that can be translated across the team (which is why i'm guessing Bahre was selected as captain)

Chaplin is a half decent little player, but his scoring record for a forward is poor.. probably why Pompey and Cov dint mind moving him on.
Strikers need to score.. simple as.

He hasn’t often operated as a striker though, wherever he’s been in his career he’s largely been used wide or as a ten. Or off the bench. I think it’s quite noticeable that Woodrow scores when Chaplin plays just off him. Plenty of ways to skin a cat.

I think Radlinger was brought in for one year with Collins as his understudy, to take over at some point. That point has come sooner than expected due to injury & he hasn't let us down at all.

Really not impressed should have stopped the header on Tuesday looks shaky to me.

Look mate if he could score goals regularly he'd be up top every game .. him being moved all over and benched proves my point. Goal scorers are like gold dust, they play, sometimes even when not fully fit, they win you games..

    Seriously?

Are you just discarding the multiple game-changing saves he's made for us then because he couldn't save a point blank header?

He made at least 3-4 great saves at the weekend to keep us in it against Swansea.

Quite frankly, after the departure of Davies to Stoke, signing Collins was a 'no brainer', if you'd followed his performances on loan at Burton.

I thought from when we first signed him that he was one of the best signings we had made that window. I defo rate him more than I do Radlinger, as said above Chaplin I also think is underrated.

He'll play in the Prem League one day. Goalies tend to get better with age and he's excellent now.

I don’t dislike Radlinger we have in my eyes 2 very good 1st/2nd choice keepers. And a decent 3rd to be fair from what I’ve seen. Whilst watching the friendlies I thought Collins was the better allrounder. Radlinger was the better distributor.
