Because the England player who was tackled without the ball was in front of the ball carrier...close decision but I'd have been aggrieved if it had been given against us if they'd been attacking.
Me neither, but having had it explained at HT I think it's because a couple of NZ defenders were effectively taken out of the action by a 'dummy' run forward by an England forward without the ball. In a non technical, 'I don't know what I am talking about' kind of way.
You sound much the same as me. Because Barnsley don't have a team, of note, we have nobody to support so struggle to really get into Rugby. Apart from England, on the big occasions. But the England football team don't get me on the edge of my seat as much as these lads have.
Can't see the Kiwis going another 40 minutes without scoring, so we need to keep coming away with points whenever we're deep in their half, but if we can maintain that shape and intensity, we've got this. Apologies if that has now jinxed things.
Me too, just the world cup really but I'm enjoying this even though I don't really know what is going on. I just know that we're winning and playing well.
Not complaining about the two tries not given but why is a Welsh man allowed to be in charge? Surely a conflict of interest when his own country would play the winner?
I think so too. The first try fair enough, to me there was a clear obstruction but that second one you couldn't tell and surely the attacking side should have the benefit of the doubt. If NZ had scored that It would have been awarded...
13 - 0 and thr kiwis haven't had a sniff of a try yet. And been warned against any more cynical fouls. Looking good!
Anyway, one more score and NZ are gonna need to convert 2 tries just to make it close. Even I get that
