    Aye vote lib dems, but before you do just do a little research on how much Jo Swinsons husband received in eu grants. Then ask yourself why she’s so for remain.

    Genuine question - why do you not see yourself as a socialist? ie, how do you define socialism and what do you disagree with about it?

    I'm not asking to immediately try to convert you, it's just it's a heavily weighted word in the media today. To some people it means a form of interventionist government, and to some it means repressive Stalinism.

    I think your options are Labour or Brexit Party. Labour offers a ratifying vote and a chance at a better deal (if Leave wins again), they are socialist though which you don’t see yourself as. Brexit Party offers No Deal and a mystery box for the following 5 years of power.

    A quick google says you need ID to open a bamk account...

    Same with benefits. Unless the Cab is wrong.

    So i think weve covered off the excuse that poor/disadvantaged etc dont have any id.

    And dont get me started on postal voting.

    Roughly 10 million adults in the UK don't have valid photo id (passport or driving licence). Most of those are in social class D/E. The cheapest of those is £34 and *might* now be delivered in time for the election. Those in Social Class D/E are least likely to have a spare £34 just before Christmas. Passports are more expensive still.

    They might have opened bank accounts years ago, or used ID that has since expired, or not used photo ID.

    Do you want to disenfranchise 1/4 of the voting population because they can't afford or don't otherwise need to get ID?

    If you want to introduce photo ID for voting, it has to be freely available, no cost to the individual, and given plenty of notice - like it is in Northern Ireland.

    The requirement being suggested for voting is you’d need photo ID

    Banks and DWP do not require photo ID.

    So that’s what I posted before, but you were so excited at the idea of being right that you failed the basic comprehension test.

    I’m a small business man working within financial services - I feel that responsible (this is where BJ falls down) free enterprise is the driver of the economy.
    Not saying I’m right but that’s my position - hence I feel totally disenfranchised from the obvious options which seem to be available on the ballot paper.

    Your right this is where the Tory Govts fall down .
    A large part of the Tory backbenchers are pro small buisness but every Tory Govt sides with their right wing and gives the larger corporate company’s far more help to monopolise and makes the smaller Buisnesses unable or struggle to compete .
