This is exactly why the black and white idealism of my youth has blurred into shades of grey. I don’t have all the answers but state organized unchecked violent oppression is as wrong as the violence that ultimately always stops it. The wrong people always end up dieing though.....

The aristocracy certainly have a lot to answer for Marlon. But it’s we who end up paying

But you didn't vote Labour under Brown, Miliband or Blair after his first term so Corbyn doesn't really have anything to do with it does it?

Honestly pal, it's an option. I actually really like what the greens are about, I feel like they can be trusted. The only thing I don't like is their stance on brexit. The people voted to leave and that should be respected.

Sad when the choice comes down to ‘who will do the least damage’

You're not, still serving after 30 years, and you're right, the man is absolutely detested, I cant find a word strong enough to describe the hatred for the man throughout all the services.

(I'm a leaver - see my earlier post about North Macedonia.)

The best way to protect/enhance workers rights etc is to have a Labour government.
Sadly Corbyn is destroying MY party - the longer he has been leader the more remote the prospect of a Labour government has become.

Labour should never have flipped from supporting Leave to Remain. Had Labour stayed as a Leave party the chances are the Lib Dems and Brexit party would not be the threat they now are.

The prospect of another Remain/Leave referendum when 'the people can decide' is not a vote winner.

The guy is getting it wrong!

I know people in the ‘services’ who don’t detest him and will vote Labour. Tell your service colleagues if they truly want to justify political hate, to visit the ex coalfields communities that the Tories destroyed through sheer vindictive policies.

Just a quick response to this... I'd very much consider where a poll comes from and who is commandeering it. There are some regions I wouldn't trust any form of research in. The Middle East is one such region. I've said before, I'm no Corbyn fan. But consider that he is very pro Palestinian. do you think an Israeli publication is going to conduct "research" and outline "findings" that are supportive of someone so critical of Israel and speaks commonly about the Palestinian settlement?

It happens all ways, but before you read an article, source or publication, I think its wise to consider what natural inherent bias it has and who it is trying to speak for and to.

hear hear. his own right wing views may be prevalent in army circles but many service men and women are capable of forming an opinion that isn't based on bigotry and prejudice.

confirmation bias. we are all sometimes guilty of finding the evidence that supports our view. ive never seen anything as bad , and almost laughable as the hate campaign used against Corbyn mind. The facebook meme patrol are in full effect right now...... russian bot tastic!

whatever the principles - what good are they if the leader isn't in a position - unable to implement them?
