As I said, antisemitism is rife in the Labour Party under Corbyn. Sooner he loses the election the better.
What about Islamophobia in the Tory Party under any leader, don’t hear you banging on about that as much as Islamaphobia. It strikes me your gripe is with Corbyn full stop irrespective of what is or isn’t going off in the Labour party. See Gove won’t apologise for a sharing a Tweet that was incorrectly attributed to a Labour member. What about this latest report that B’stard Johnson and his cronies won’t release before the break- up of Parliament?
Its a ploy to undermine him on every occasion, anywhere, see the Nigel Farage post by Gally descended into slagging Corbyn off again. Has anyone here who is a labour supporter ever called anyone out for being Jewish ever? Complete Rubbish, I see what is happening to Palestine as nothing short of a massacre, I blame Israel, not their faith.
To be honest Corbyn does himself no favours on anti Semitic allegations. He says virtually nothing. He doesn't go on the attack. Similarly with the 'friend of terrorism' charges. He sits on his hands. He is not 'aggressive' enough with the media. I suspect that he is basically not aggressive full stop. However, as leader of a major party he does need to lead and come out fighting on issues like this. It's politics. Not to attack these allegations aggressively, even given Corbyns natural tendencies gives fuel to the allegations and undermines his leadership. He is in effect a weak leader of the Labour Party because of instances like this. I say this as a Labour voter. Corbyn is a genuinely concerned, decent guy. He wants to change society for the benefit of all citizens. He is caring. He speaks for me. However, as leader he is weak. I have often thought that if Labour had a left wing version of Tony Blair (media comfortable) they could really tap into peoples ' psyche. Corbyn taps into SOME people because of the policies but as I say, he seems weak and he makes it easy for people to attack him. That's how I see it
It's amazing how many people are suddenly so supportive of the Jewish community isn't it? Almost like there's another agenda.
Corbyn is the wrong man - he is basically peddling policies from a bygone era in the shape of tax increases for the higher earners, corporation tax increases for business etc - its been tried before and doesn't work - companies can and will relocate - which is the exact opposite of what will need to be done when Brexit happens - add on to this the huge spend on re nationalising companies - that is basically a repeat of old 70's Labour - tax and spend - he and JM are trying to sell this to middle England - Labour need middle England to win the election - they are basically trying to sell Socialism and it will not work imo - Blair had the right idea, appeal to Middle England and plenty of spin - couldn't stand the man myself but it worked - Corbyn will not.
And I wonder how many other cases have been "someone" pretending to be Labour party members https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...h-labour-member-corbyn-momentum-a9184601.html
so what you are saying is you want Blair, who you couldn't stand and who had tory light policies back? it like those saying " they are all the same" above, that Corbyn isn't a leader, when its pointed out that Corbyn isn't the same as those they supposedly hate, isn't like the others they just shrug their shoulders... proper bizarre.
So it’s all a ploy, fook me. Maybe the labour mp’s who resigned were secretly working for the tories and it’s all a daily mail plot to discredit dear leader ?
The funniest thing about Corbyn is 9 months ago he was telling people the ISIS bride should be given a 2nd chance as she was only 15/16 at the time of fleeing to Syria and shouldn't be accountable for that decision, now he wants 16/17 year olds to have a vote. Make your mind up.
er no I didn't say I wanted Blair, you did - maybe you could apply, you can spin the words ok like Blair did
yup less spin, more clear thinking - like the Labour idea of renegotiating the Brexit deal, then campaigning against it - !!!!!!
you know what, if the sh1tshow and phoney war of brexit is important to you isn't labours policy actually sensible. Negotiate a deal , tell you exactly what leaving on its terms mean and then let the people decide. exactly what should have happened but didn't under a tory government, whose only intention was to stop itself imploding and to stop its backers defecting to UKIP.
no - Labour's policy on where they stand on Brexit is muddled at best - not just me saying that either - to renegotiate a deal then start with referendums is simply kicking the can down the road, by which time we will be in recession - business is already starting to crumble under the uncertainty of it all so how is prolonging this going to help -
