Corbyn showed his true colours last night by failing to attend the Festival of Remembrance. What a tool of a PM he would be-bl00dy disgraceful.
I've heard he was plotting with the IRA and what remains of ISIS to dig a tunnel from Moscow to London so Putin can come in and catch us all unawares.
He'd been in Doncaster most of the day speaking to locals and firefighters dealing with the flooding. Nice to see Boris (friend of the Russians) sat next to the sexual abuser Prince Andrew.
Corbyn wants to help Russia. Honestly. That's right corbyn is so left wing he wants to help a right wing nationalist government. Meanwhile in the real world top Russians with links to Moscow donate money to the tories and their wives play tennis with the tory prime minister. Go figure
See the current prime minister was there from a party that oversaw a massive rise in homeless veterans.
When you point out that the Tories have spent years betraying those troops, then the same Corbyn bashers go deadly quiet. Not surprising as it's not in The Sun. Even worse is that when Corbyn proposes buying empty properties to house some of the same said homeless ex-troops he's roundly castigated for it as being part of some communist plot. It takes some world class mental gymnastics to believe that a basic human right such as a roof above your head should be so controversial. But such is the inability of folk to actually think for themselves instead of parroting crap written in right wing rags. @fatalbert
Today, on Remembrance Sunday, our movement took a pause from campaigning. Thousands of us, from members and supporters to activists and candidates, attended services of remembrance up and down the country. Our party is for peace, justice and dignity for all. But so many of our armed forces, veterans and their families – who have given and still give so much – often get a shamefully raw deal. We have a clear message to our armed forces: under a Labour government, you will no longer be let down. Let's help our leader, Jeremy Corbyn, send an unmistakable message to veterans and those in our armed forces today. A Labour government will have your backs. Labour will make sure veterans no longer have to sleep on our streets. We will invest in the mental health services that many ex-service people rely on. We will deliver better pay, better accommodation, and better support for them and their families. While Boris Johnson has talked openly about sending troops to Saudi Arabia and Iran, Jeremy Corbyn and the Labour Party will not send soldiers needlessly into war. Real security doesn't come from posturing or reckless military interventions that risk the lives of our armed forces. Our foreign policy will be defined by human rights and international justice, not foreign wars that fuel terrorism rather than stopping it. today we remember the dead. But let's honour their sacrifice by taking better care of the living. Team Labour
Was he invited? He's not usually invited,I'm sick of all the infantilism over him.and what he does.I believe he was in Yorkshire at a Election rally. By the way, I'm former military ,my father was a decorated professional soldier who served in the second World war. His father was a decorated professional soldier who served 22years, from the Boer war to the First World war. They fought so that there might be peace and that you and everyone had choices.
I do think you need an invite, so yes was he invited? Anyway it's his choice to attend or not, god bless our veterans.
People like op: CORBYN the WAR CRIMINAL who is DISRESPECTFUL and HATES are COUNTRY has LAID A WREATH at the cenotaph UPSIDE DOWN. Shows his TRUE COLOURS. LOCK HIM UP. Narrator: it was actually Johnson People like OP: i see no story here. (These are the same mouth breathers that were foaming at the mouth last year because corbyn didn’t quite look smart enough at the same event, despite Johnson sporting his usual ‘slipped out the back of a local massage parlour’ look)
Have you seen this? The BBC showed footage from 3 years ago to avoid showing Johnson laying the wreath upside down.
