    it is bad enough what is going on at our club, very depressing
    Can we please stop all political threads on this Forum.
    99 per cent could not give a flying **** what they are up to
    They are all a bigger set of ******* than this board

    There was a poll back September which voted overwhelmingly for a separate forum for political threads, but it’s not been implemented yet.

    A bit like Brexit really....

    Personally, I feel it's the sheer variety of subjects that people post about that make this forum unique and I would be sad to see an "off-topic" board created. For a start, most of the time(outside the transfer windows certainly) there is only so much you can actually say about the club, and that is why you get the same thing posted over and over, but worded ever so slightly different. Look at the current first page, at the time of writing, only 14 of the 35 threads were regarding Barnsley Football Club...

    There’s 5 threads out of 35 on the front page of this forum that are dedicated to politics and one of them is questionable (about floods mainly).

    Considering the current situation and impending GE I don’t think anyone can complain about those numbers.

    If you made this into a football only forum it would die, so be careful what you wish for.

    I've been posting on here for nearly 20 years and the volume of traffic has already diminished by about 80%.
