Yeah, I realised after I posted. I can't remember the home game at all, although I'll doubtlessly have attended.
I remember that Foreman scored in front of the Leeds fans and there being a bit of a delay til we realised it had gone in... but like you, I can't remember much else about the game. It was a while back mind you!
Yup, early memorable games v leeds at Oakwell for me are the 2-1 when they had just come down. 3-0 when Hirst got his first senior goal, it had been coming for a few games and he ran them ragged. Another one was a 1-0 win when they came on the pitch. They were **** but still came in their numbers.
Fingers crossed. Our next few games are winnable so he has the opportunity to get a new manager bounce.
He used to stand near the dugout with a plastic cup in his hand. I used to sit on the West Stand terrace and watched him getting increasingly agitated when things were going wrong, which was quite often. Big relief for him and us when he left.
