Radlinger back in; harsh on Collins but did ok.
Great to see Ben Williams recalled, this lad is quality.
Diaby and Andersen looked dodgy, especially Andersen who gift wrapped their first goal.
Halme at base of diamond rather than Dougall. Not convinced, Dougall looked better 2nd half.
Bahre, again not convinced. Would prefer to see Chaplin or Thomas start.
Woodrow at point of the diamond, not convinced and prefer him to be up top.
Brown and Schmidt up front doesn't work. Schmidt not ready yet.

    On Wednesday I'd go with:
    Radlinger
    Sibbick Diaby Halme Williams
    Dougall
    Mowatt McGeehan
    Chaplin
    Woodrow Thomas

For me Woodrow drops far too deep when he's upfront, having him further back for me worked, if he drops back usually there's no one else upfront, at least today he was behind two outlets, neither I think actually worked but he had room to create and move a bit more than he usually does for me

No way would I have McGeehan in for Bähre. I thought he played well today. We need a quality defender or two or we are on for the worst season in history. We did enough all over the park to win today and the defence cost us. As usual.

I think GS did the right thing with the HT changes and realised change needed. That gives me hope. I, too, would like to see Thomas in.
I'm hoping that GS can really work on that defence and get some structure and organisation in there - then it's down to individuals to step up.
I'm hoping that the willingness to intervene early with selection changes is indicative of how serious GS is to get only those in the first team who are capable, consistent, and committed.

Agree, am not convinced by McGeehan either, but it's him, Bahre or Brown and I don't think any of them have impressed that much this season. Maybe give Simoes or Oduour a try...

Can't agree with "Radlinger back in; harsh on Collins but did ok." thought he was in no mans land for the first and flapped at a simple save for the third. Not helped by a AWOL defence mind.

I thought williams had a decent game, i dont think he'l ever become a consistent championship level full back but will certainly be a solid squad player. The fact he's our best option at left back is just one of a number of failings in the summer.
