To me after yesterday its plain and clear its defensive lapses thats costing us , now if strubber is tactically good a manager, from yesterday he gotta see thats Anderson and diaby are not good enough for this league, sibbick still not sure , how do we solve this ?. Have we anybody in under 23s that can fill in am not sure but nows the time for strubber to show us what he came her for ..
I think most would agree entirely with you. Our attacking play is ok but unfortunately they are not good enough to score three or four every week in order to get points from games.
Too right. Scoring two goals should earn us three points, one at worst. There are teams, in this division, who have scored less than us, but because they can defend, they gain points.
Cant see how anyone can improve the current squad technically or thought process wise quick enough so the reality is the manager needs to find a system to get the best out of the players he has right now as any points picked up between now and Jan could be crucial.
Before yesterday Blackburn had scored 20 goals from their previous 16 games. We turn up and they score nearly three times their goals per game average.
I could see the the passion and desire from the team yesterday that was plain to see, let's hope he works on the defensive lapses don't no how he gonna do it tbh especially in Anderson truthfully he not good enough for for 1st division we so need a rock at the back one player with that leadership and I think we could ls steady the ship....
They could have been half as bad as they have been (which would still be pretty poor) but we'd have likely won a few games by turning those draws into wins. The question is can they improve, or have we just assembled a defensive unit who by nature have too many mistakes in them? I think we maybe lack a leader, someone who organises, and shouts orders. On the upside we do have a guy on the coaching staff with bags of experience at this level, so hopefully his knowledge will rub off.
I've just read a stat on Twitter that I found incredible. Apparently only Brentford have scored more goals than we have in the last 6 games in the Championship. During that time they've gained 15 points. We've gained 3.
