My opinion after watching Cavare over lots of matches He is not a full back. He goes on long runs up the wing and sometimes does well but sometimes loses the ball. His crosses are some times good but mostly poor. The problem with him he does not get back fast enough. He saunters back and we are exposed and to cover for him our central defence has to go and cover for him. This leaves us exposed and wide open. We are not the best at getting back centrally as we seem to push up too much and get caught with numbers breaking out catch us wide open Couple that with some not good in first place all results in silly easy goals I do not think Cavare has a good football brain and he will do it times many as he has already done as long as he is played at full back Rad linger had a nightmare match and only redeemed himself a little second half but I think Woods is a better goalkeeper and needs bringing back
He is not a team man, he is in his own bubble. He is not blessed as an intelligent player and goes wherever it takes him Then after failing he saunters back without a care in the world.
Go back a few matches. Take corners, he never gets goal side of opposition and frankly does not cover anyone at all. Just stands there Shocking He wants to take a leaf out of young Ben Williams who works his butt off and will become one of our main assets in the near future
Cavare is as much a liability as any of our defenders. But, have to wonder why there was nobody within 5 yards of Fletcher once their winger won the ball. They managed to pretty much walk the ball in, from the touchline, unchallenged. Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be anybody in our defence that can read a game, that's why when mistakes happen in our defence, there's never any cover to bail them out of the **** Also - What's happened the Pinillos? Whether he's good enough for the Championship is one thing, but he's certainly good enough to get into our team.
