It's throughout the team, that's just one of many examples. Keep on condescending though.

Condescending, who me? I disagree. I accept that you take that view of why we lost. For the whole team to have lowered their level of effort from maybe a week or so ago I guess the fault must lie with Struber.

I still cannot see that Mowatt or Bahre displayed a lack of effort last night despite your screen shots. In the next clip on the highlights Mowatt is the man who is doing his best to get back and cover. Maybe I couldn’t view the game properly through the driving rain (or was distracted throughout by the morons behind me!)

Genuinely sorry you had to watch a game with the type you're speaking about. Been there, it's not fun.

    No, I don't blame Struber.

I think we all know Mowatt gives his all. That example is probably the only one from the entire game where he made a misjudgement. I genuinely don't believe that other players are putting in his work rate or that of Williams or even Andersen, who I really don't rate as a footballer but cannot question his dedication.

I don’t think there was a lack of effort last night. We lost because of Cavare’s error which once made was always going to cost us dear.

What was apparent however was a lack of quality and end product. We knocked it around nearly enough at times and looked the better side for large periods of the game.

But not once did I get the feeling we were likely to get the breakthrough. Conversely, I was in constant fear of the defensive error that ultimately and inevitably cost us yet again.

We’re not good enough and no amount of abuse directed at the players is going to change that, rather only further dent their confidence.

I should say however that I was heartened to see a lot of fans stay behind to applaud the players for their efforts at the end of the game.

Not happy clappers but cold, wet, disappointed yet devoted fans with a long journey home ahead of them.

Fair enough. Maybe you were seeing frustration and disappointment enacted on the field of play. Bound to happen at times given the situation. I don’t think we lack a positive mind set at the beginning of games though. Mistakes must sap the spirit. Given the first half yesterday and the conditions I’d said that the match was a lottery and I believe that’s how it turned out.

I haven't abused the players or our owners but I have been very critical of the owners for several weeks. I have also assumed positive intent, consistently expressing the view that there's no conspiracy, they haven't made bad decisions intentionally, they do want what's best for the club. But the decisions they've made are either incompetent or negligent and their near silence as things have deteriorated on the pitch has been an appalling mistake - which has led many to form the view that they have little respect or appreciation for the fans. It's a case study in how to alienate your paying customers. I'm alarmed by the number of people on here who have already stopped going or are close to it. And I'm increasingly frustrated by the accusations that they're 'not true supporters'. That's bull***t.

There are some who feel the same as you Judith, there are others whose view is close to mine I think.
