tall long armed man, beats short small armed man ,Fury beats them both everyday of week and Wilder beats them both twice on a Sunday
Mature performance by AJ who stuck to his game plan well for a result that never was in doubt against the Mexican Mowatt. In 2020 we need a undisputed heavyweight champion. It cannot be allowed to happen to finish another year with three guys claiming to be the best. The governing bodies need to force their champions to make the fights.
Going to have to disagree with you there, I think Joshua loses to both and Fury beats Wilder myself. Just as a side note Andy Ruiz has had problems with un-professionalism in the past and half arsing training camps. I didn’t think that would be an issue seen as he was defending the heavyweight belts but apparently his trainer wanted him back in camp July and he didn’t turn up while September, That plus the added weight just all points to him not taking it seriously at all. Hard to get up for a 5am run when you’re sleeping in satin sheets.
Have to say I think both Fury and Wilder would beat AJ but it's going be an interesting 12 months coming up in the heavyweight division. Let's hope these big fights definitely happen! Isn't Wilder Vs Fury II provisionally set for February 2020? On a side note, Andy Ruiz should be embarrassed, clearly just interested in the money and fame following his shock win, he's had six months to sort himself out for this fight and couldn't be arsed in training.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/live/boxing/50187624 At least Ruiz realises he was too heavy and didn't prepare good enough. If they have a third fight I see the same ending as tonight.
Pretty boring fight but that’s not Joshua’s fault. As the shorter man who needs a KO to win it’s all on Ruiz to make the fight entertaining but unfortunately he wasn’t fit enough to do so. I’d like to see a third fight if there was some kind of guarantee Ruiz would show up in shape but there obviously isn’t & it’s his own fault that he’s at the back of the queue now & will have to work his way to a title shot.
AJ will unify the championship if the other 2 protagonists dare fight him instead of hiding behind their belts and looking after their finances and the finances of their promoters
