And anyone who doesn’t want the Tory’s If you haven't voted yet please go now your vote counts and every vote is needed. Tory Voters stop in and count your money everything’s fine.
If any tories really want to make sure of no labour win. Place your X in both the tory and libdem boxes, just to make doubly sure labour don't get in.
Haha, we all know the only real thing that could happen in Barnsley is Labour or a Brexit party to win.... I just hope some of the turkeys who vote labour are ok when they’re unemployed because the company they worked for has folded due to increased taxes and restrictions on commerce.
Tories and Brexit voters should nip to Wetherspoons to boost Mr Martins profits and call in to vote on the way home at chucking out time.
Things must be very different in England because it is widely assumed here that a tory win and brexit will decimate the workforce along with all workers rights, holiday pay etc. Still if that were to happen Independence would be wanted by Everyone.
Yes, that’s the tale spun... big business will pay for everyone in Jeremy Corbyns world... but in real terms the big businesses don’t/won’t and the small/medium businesses are hit by the policies and not helped by indecision around brexit.... hence bye bye small commerce and many jobs around Barnsley.
In all seriousness. You are entitled to vote for who you want to. If the 'turkeys" vote for Christmas they'll be voting for Boris or Farage, two people who will do nothing for the economy in the North of England. I appreciate some folks don't like Corbyn, but the manifesto of the Labour Party offers a lot to get our health service, social care & house building programmes back on track. Will they deliver everything, no, it's not that easy, but we won't sell off the NHS & crash out of the EU, two things that will affect people the most in Barnsley in my opinion. It is my opinion & yours is yours, I just don't have the faith you have in a right wing government that has constitently made us poor to suddenly change it's spots. It has been in power for 9 years & the discontent is rife. Unfortunately Johnson & Farage have made the scapegoats the EU, when the truth is it largely lies with Westminster. I'm not a fan of the Lisbon Treaty & one or two other things, but on the whole I think if we cut ourselves off from the EU, we can whistle goodbye to jobs & seat at the negotiating table with the great powers.
But the manifesto is built on a pack of cards and Monopoly money.... the biggest con of our time is that things will improve under a Jeremy Corbyn Govt. We are entitled to vote who we want to... but often you wouldn’t think that on here...
It's hard to tell as every time they were asked about it they answered "But Labour / Jeremy Corbyn.......".
Bit late for this year I know but if you want your choice to win, get down to the polling station as it opens place your vote then nick the pencil and leg it
I run a small business & thankfully I'm not involved in import / export. I still think the fall in GDP will affect me more than paying a couple of percent extra in corporation tax. (Small business is only looking at an increase under Labour to 21%, from 19% currently), a price I'm willing to pay for the investment. You do sometimes need to invest to prosper.
Those much vaunted YouGov polls reckon the Brexit party vote reached a height of 18% (1st YouGov poll) and has now dropped to 8% (2nd YouGov poll) in Barnsley Central. It reckoned Labour have a 13 point lead over the Tories.
At our polling station the staff looked knackered and were talking to each other about how it’s been the busiest it’s ever been. The box was rammed, I had to proper shove my vote in.
The Sun have given 50 reasons not to vote Labour..... https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/10538676/election-jeremy-corbyn-unfit-prime-minister/
