    Now the election is over, now that brexit is going to happen, now we’ve all had time to reflect on the result can I ask that the mud slinging and insults from what I’m sure are perfectly nice folk on here aimed at other perfectly nice folk in here comes to an abrupt halt. Some are disappointed others are looking forward not back, but whatever your beliefs can we now all voice our opinions without the insults.

    Couldn't agree more TTS. A certain post on here today should make people realise, without in any way trivialising the election result etc, just what the most important things are in life and that's family and health

    That’s the main reason I’ve not said owt regarding the election. Too many people on here think your sumat your not if you haven’t got the same view as them, vote same as them or share same beliefs.

    I’ve seen a lot of this today, I’ve also seen a lot of people still sharing memes, that are mainly stupid, I’ll informed and plainly un funny.

    Nothing against trixie here at all it’s a noble message and one I much agree with, people must be more tolerant of each other in general and try to work a way to treat each other with respect, socialist labour values if you will?? it’s a shame so many people chose to gloat at others today.

    Thanks, most people who know me do consider me funny. ;)

    I like to watch lots of comedy, it’s a big part of my life.

    I’m just interested in what draws people towards the constant online bullying of a senior mp who happens to be female and black. As opposed to white males.

    and having taken part in that bullying; I’m interested in the fact you have no awareness of any damage that might cause, yet you’re so butt hurt when someone challenges you.

    Not at all, for me it’s about maintaining the mutually beneficial ties we have with the eu minus the imposition of eu law. If you think that brexit means Vera Lynn on the radio, the roar of merlin engines overhead and HMS Victory patrolling the channel you’d be right that we’ve much to be proud of, commemorate and celebrate but wrong to think that aspiration and empire are the same things.
