Heard through a friend of mine that an old mate of ours who is ex military who has been active with ex military homeless was considering voting Tory .
Don’t know whether he has or not not seen him in months but to vote for a party that’s overseen the biggest rise this country’s ever seen in homeless military . A cause he used to vent his anger a govt inaction and had to depend on charities .
I hope he hasn’t because I know he was passionate about this very worthy cause but if he has because of Brexit as my friend said that’s why he was considering then I have no words .

Typical Tory, seeing foodbanks as another opportunity to make a profit. Ashamed of the constituency where I grew up.

There is another thread about this

@Dub-Tyke makes a valid point that they are trying to improve the food banks efficiently I believe.

But........ fcuck me sideways what a country we live in where food banks are considered part of normal society and other scumbags try and profit from them. Do the app for free you absolute fukcing bunch of turds. Do something about the inequality in society and the welfare state you absolute bunch of turds.

Trussell Trust also charge a fee..... but they work in a different way and are obviously a charity.

The app has a cost to be developed enough to be approved by Apple and Google.

Unless someone does it for free, developing an App (even a poor one) is costly. At least an effort has been made to help.

The app referred to isn’t forced on anyone - it’s an option to help Foodbanks get what they need. And can help smaller ones survive where they haven’t got the platform and website like Trussell (their website alone probably costs over £3k).

By not using the app, you are affecting all those foodbanks who have signed up to it and paid, and ultimately rely on it....

But I guess if a Labour supporter built it, that be ok?

Foodbanks aside, i find it very crass that someone is judged in full, simply because of how they vote. That’s not Democratic.

I imagine 4-5 of BFC’s first team vote Tory too. What next, get them sacked? Labour and Green Party voters only for BFC from now on?

    Never known owt like it.

I’m talking about the app and reaction to it - with a bit of knowledge of how food banks do struggle at times and how Charities operate.

And you respond like that..... Perhaps my point is Proven
