For me, a CB, a RB and a CM are essential. Maybe even a LB too, seeing as Pinillos looks like he’s out of the picture. Imagine this team with a Scowen - would make a big difference.
An experienced spine, even if they're out of contract players. Must be some cheap good uns out there.
Lb, rb, cb, cm and a striker ideally..... But we'l probably end up with a couple more 'development squad' wingers
Mike Flynn, Peter Sand, Kevin Donovan, Garry Jones, Tony Bedeau, Gary Mcswegan, Richard Naylor, Michael Reddy and Paul Gibbs.
Article in one of the papers reckons Stoke City and Wigan Athletic are interested in signing Cameron McGeehan when the January window opens.
An experienced central defender with positional sense and patience, doesn't expose himself (on and off the pitch). I'd like to see a few other positions bolstered but with just the above addition, we'd improve massively.
At least one championship quality, experienced centre half, at least one full back (same credentials) and a striker.
I put this on the midfield not doing it’s job thread but I guess this is a better place to air my opinions Left back and right back with pace. Experienced centre back, preferably left sided. Box to box midfielder with 3 lungs Cover for Kenny unless Halme is that solution? 6’3” sh*thouse centre forward. Out: Thiam (Nowhere near the standard required) Cavare (I’d keep him but looks odds on to go) Green (Nowhere near the standard required) Pinnilos (Again I’d keep him but definitely going) Sibbick (Loan, unless a bid comes in from L1) Mcgeehan (Loan, unless a bid comes in from L1) Styles (Loan, unless a bid comes in from L1) Wilkes (Loan, unless a bid comes in from L1) Walton (Loan)
