Do you actually think this or are you doing a Conan to get a debate going?

I'm pretty sure you originally said Halme wasn't a footballer. And that we'd struggle in League 1.

Don't think he's as bad as folk are making out, but he certainly isn't our best keeper.

From highlights its Diaby at fault for their goal. Rads has pulled off some great saves vs hull reading and QPR. cant say he was at fault for any of them goals its its mostly poor defending and individual errors. Very harsh to be ripping him to shreds like this...

Any ball in the 6 yard box should be the keepers for me. He is a decent shot stopper though.

Think the OP is a bit over the top He isn’t a terrible keeper but I think we have 2 better keepers on our books. He does the sweeper role well but I don’t think he commands his area well enough and he definitely isn’t the best shot stopper we have. He certainly has to take some blame for their goal though I think Bambo is more at fault ball watching. Also only saw it once but from the replay in the ground their guy looked a tad offside

Having said all that hard to drop him when we have just won 2 games on the bounce. And we never won a game with Collins I the nets

Struggling to see how anyone can find him at fault for today's goal and didn't seem to do much wrong for me throughout the game. I do think Collins will be a better keeper but think there's little to choose between them at present. To suggest he is a "terrible, terrible keeper" is way off for me though.

Agreed. Goals keepers let in within their own six yard box is my number one pet hate. Just take a step or two and grab the ball or contact is made with you and it's a foul on the keeper. For such a commanding size he's more Leese than Muller. Clive Baker was tiny in comparison but way more intimidating for an opposition attacking player.

I guess the argument for Radlinger over Collins is that he's better with his feet and distribution. Every time we get a goal kick we look to draw them towards us by playing short passes and then breaking the lines when they overcommit. It asks a lot of Radlinger (and all of the back four) and I'm not entirely sold on the tactic but Stuber is seemingly. We almost scored twice from it against Cardiff but we've also almost conceded from it many times now.

I feel more comfortable with Collins but I can see why he keeps picking Radlinger.

I don't think he's very good with his feet at all. I think that he THINKS he is but that his ability does not match his confidence which has resulted in quite a few near misses from him so far.

It’s a fair point. I also think it’s fair to point out that the cross for their goal never came into the six yard box.

I can't. I think Radlinger can improve but at the moment there are several aspects of his game that need attention. He should be rested.

How much do you change a team that has won 3 out of 5? Think Collins will get his chance though.

Interesting to see Luke Steele on their bench. Another 'keeper that was routinely lambasted on this forum.

I happen to prefer Collins over Radlinger, I like Walton too. I don't think any of them are poor at all.

Agree with this mate. He looked dodgy as fck on every ball that was swung into the box but i’d back him in a 1 on 1. He isn’t bad at all.

If you take the stats at face value (with both having played roughly the same amount of in game time) Radlinger is a better passer of the ball (59%) than Collins (37%), mn with Collins attempting on average two more longer passes per game.
