Depends how many points we need. Also we are a long way from being safe yet especially with our defence
We've closed the gap a bit now so the mindset is different to what it was before. Games gone don't matter. The incentives there to kick on. The doom and gloom turns to lets make it happen.
The win today should really boost confidence; all the lads need to do is look at the league table and they will know they can stay up.
Probably need another 31 points which means 10 wins and a draw. It won’t be easy but it is possible. Needs a few back to back wins. Very important transfer window.
There are a few poor teams around us we have ourself in the mix now so it's possible, I think boro will pick up points when there injured players return. Like you say the transfer window is important.
Problem comes when a team near the bottom puts a bid in for Mowatt or Chaplin or Woodrow just to prevent is from playing them. We all know the board are likely to accept a profit without considering the big picture.
Not sure we will need to get to 50 points though that will definitely be enough. I think the way things are at the moment 45 may well do it be happy if we can get more than 3 points from the next 3 games.
I think they will to be honest they would be up roar if any of those 3 went. Plus chaplin signed a 4 year deal in the summer
The home fans haven't took the result well and especially this fella...... https://millwall-forum.vitalfootbal...-millwall-v-barnsley.39924/page-3#post-579795
