For those who were at both games, and experienced Jacob Brown's last minute goal at Walsall and Patrick Schmidt's yesterday, a simple question. Which goal had the highest pandemoniumeter reading?
I was watching the Walsall game in Tenerife last season so I can't really comment, although it was a bit special to be at the Den yesterday when our second goal went in.
Saw them both on screen . Woke the neighbours up more yesterday . Don't know why as they were both important goals .
Schmidt's goal could be priceless. It could be the difference between spending in January and staying up and not spending in January and going down. It could be the difference between Woodrow and Mowatt staying or going. It would be nice to pick up some more points before January though but we have three tough games now. I'd take 2 points out those three if offered now.
Was at Walsall last year. Watched Millwall match on Internet. I went wilder at Walsall. Maybe cos was there but maybe also as the game was so awful and we should have lost that the goal stood out so much as it was literally the only excitement the entire game. Against Millwall we should have won. We deserved to win. The goal will probably prove to be more valuable though in the long term. I'm still concerned that at the moment to see how many goals the opponents score you just look at how many shots they had on target as its generally the same number. Good job that wasn't the case at Walsall last year!
I originally put "Bedlamometer", easier to pronounce, but in the end I thought "Pandemoniumeter" just edged it.
I'd already gone upstairs and had my pants on my head, pencils up my nose and fingers in my ears by then.
That reminds me off the paul walker commentary when odejayi scored against Chelsea, i had that as a ringtone at the time
I've had the Odejayiiiiiiii clip as my alarm tone for 11 years. Yesterday I changed it to the Patrick Schmidt tone. Trust me, it's not suitable....if you're in a deep peaceful sleep when your alarm goes off, you'll have a heart attack.
I'm going to go for Jacob Brown at Walsall. Although the Pandemoniumeter* reading was still off the charts on Saturday * Copy and Paste hatchet job on that word
It will forever be Schmidt's goal. And it's a terrific header. But the tackle/block and subsequent cross by Thomas is word class. A little piece of perfection.
I've found that the best way to learn how to pronounce it is to imagine someone is eating some pandemonium. "Pandemonium Eater". Easy innit?
Walsall we barely deserved anything yet came away with a vital 3 points in the 91st minute which was fantastic, but we'd had a very successful season and experienced many highs up to then. Don't get me wrong it was absolute limbs ahoy at Walsall, but Saturday was just something else. No away win up to then, having witnessed us potentially throw away more points on the road, with Wallace about to race away and possibly leave us with nothing, and Thomas puts in that tackle and crosses for the forgotten man Schmidt to head in the winner against an in form side. Magical.
