Aren't we the highest scoring team in the division over the last ten games? Creating more chances than the opposition in most of those games? I think Brown has played up front in eight of those, maybe even all ten. Doesn't he have about eight assists as well? He's doing far better than just 'ok' in most areas. His work rate, movement, and close control is invaluable to the way we play right now. I think the goals will come, but even if they don't and the team continues to score goals, there's no issue with that from my perspective.
I think Woodrow is a lot better where he is now playing that where he was before, especially not as a lone striker. Often times earlier in the season he was coming back into midfield. A huge problem for a lone striker. He seems like this is his natural position to me.
^Brown has been great up there. Makes a real nuisance of himself with his running and heading ability - getting loads of assists too. The goals will come soon I reckon - we know he can finish. We missed him when he went off yesterday. Woodrow is class up front, and played well against West Brom in the position behind the strikers. His touch of quality is important for us, and with Brown and Chaplin doing well he's best utilised there. I could see Woodrow and Brown being a good pair up front if Jan brings a good CAM (Which I doubt!)
Seems to spend a lot of time on the wings, increasingly becoming a nightmare to play against for defenders and creating opportunities for others so don't see the problem. Individual assists stats equates to goals scored that he had a hand in.
Suits him naturally to be fair. He will score more goals just last couple of games haven’t to be. A goal tomorrow this conversation never happened
