    Haha.

I saw her post earlier on. Impressive stuff for someone who has zero knowledge on cars. I'm handy when it comes to cars but grinding a crank is quite a skilled job.

Was going to say the same or... youtube.

Grinding a crank? Done a bit of that in my youth, one cost me a leather settee and a dalmatian.

Now forgive me if I'm wrong but didn't there used to be a specialist on the edge of Sheffield on the A61 at Grenoside just after the Norfolk Arms on the left side of the road as you're going in.
Was there for many many years but don't know if it is still there.

Try G Bland & Son at Monk Bretton, if they can’t do it they will point you in the right direction. Ask for Steve or Neil

Arnetts on Kelham St in Balby is probably as close as Barnsley to Goldthorpe.

There's plenty for me to go at now, thankyou all for your reccomendations. I was told of someone up Monk Bretton but I couldn't for the life of me remember which garage it was. I just remember something about it being near a bad bend.

That would be Blands, Had all sorts done by them years ago when Geoff Bland was the main man, he'll be retired now but I bet the quality of work will still be of a high standard.

Geoff Bland was a real engineer. My late Brother in law worked for him for a few years and they used to repair HGVs and do motorway recovery work in addition to norma service and repair He had a full workshop and restored an old Albion lorry and a couple of Vincent motorbikes to concours standard which he used to take to veteran and vintage car rallies.
