I know it's off track but a few months ago the council bloke offered to get me one of them yellow disabled spaces painted outside my house because I have a blue badge but he did warn me that anyone displaying a blue badge could use it just wish I had the bottle to try it in someone else's space
I get it's inconvenient but your wife shouts at people for it? Unless they're on your drive you don't own the space outside your house. If I was them I know where I'd be parking every time I visit in future... and it's not 5 houses down the road
Our ex-neighbour's mother had a habit of parking outside my house. There was no shortage of space outside the house next door, but she did it anyway. I'd been parking in that spot for 25 years and while I agree I don't own the road, nevertheless I felt that the spot was "mine". There's no logic to that, but goats are a bit territorial at the best of times. Anyway, on the days that she did it, I just parked outside her daughter's house next door. I'm guessing that it must have wound up the neighbours, because after a few weeks of it, she stopped parking in front of me. I know, I know... small things please small minds.
we don’t own the space outside our house but it’s just manners not to park right outside someone’s house when theres space at the house your visiting. I wouldn’t do it. There’s space for 3 cars on our drives and 2 outside. Then we’re straight opposite fields so can park all along the opposite side of the road without being outside a house. So unless someone is having a massive party there’s definitely no need to park outside someone’s house. We dont have much of a front garden so I don’t want folk parking outside my house if they don’t need to
