We were never ever gonna get anything from that. The only thing that does surprise is that they did not get a penalty for Rooney to score. Its over and gone and I for one will put it away... we still are in charge of our destiny IMHO and we still are more than capable of surviving.... unless of course the remaining teams we play roll out a number of England has beens to become player coaches. I did not watch or even listen to it as I knew what the outcome would be, I watched other stuff on the TV... and glad I did. So guys its nouse getting bitter over this as you all should have realised it was scripted by the FA/EFL/SKY.... they got their wishes. Cannot wait to see Derby get wupped by the better sides in the division and see what Shrek's reaction is to that.
We drew with Derby at ours. We cant afford to write games off before a ball is even kicked just cos Sky get excited by the opposition.
Utterly ridiculous conspiracy theory. The ref gave us tonnes of decisions and was fair in my opinion. The penalty was a 50-50 but his hands were low down. Other than that, there was sweet FA to moan about. We weren't good enough, simple as that.
I disagree, play anywhere near the standard of recent weeks and we would have comfortably taken 3 points tonight. Just not good enough tonight which is why we are where we are.
It was obvious the Sky crew were always going to eulogise over every little thing Rooney did, and virtually the whole programme was going to be about him, but fixed/ scripted, have a word with yourself. A performance similar to the WBA game on Boxing Day would’ve seen us walk this tonight.
Most realistic post I have read! Script was written before a ball was kicked! We should have played them yesterday on the fixtures when he was ineligible. So. ????
