In the last few games we've cut the personal mistakes down

    No Mads, you really haven't

He has. Maybe they reappeared on Thursday but in the last few games he’d really found some form.

In my opinion he really hadn't found any form. He's awful at defending imo.

I think he’s looked out of his depth this season as have a few others at times. But you’re being either incredibly unfair or haven’t watched the last few games. Because he had improved a lot. I still think he’s better than Diaby. Although I’d replace both.

I can't see us cutting the mistakes out TBH, unless we get in a solid CB. We've done better up to the Derby game, where we could have been 3 down at half time.
I can't blame the players for endeavour, but the mistakes keep coming & it isn't really surprising. I can see 3 players in the spine of the team, as Struber has asked for helping a lot. We are playing some great stuff & if we had got a nailed on penalty at Derby, we might have stolen a point there, even though we were totally outplayed.

It's not all doom & gloom. Simoes was a revelation, Radlinger played very well & Oduor was class again. Sad Schmidt looks like a super sub at best & the skilful, but disappointing Bahre was terrible. His woeful back heel in the middle of the park, was surely the time Struber called on the sub. Stupid showboating, against a very good set of players. I don't think Bahre has got English football at all TBH.

In my opinion he's improved. Yet I'm prepared to leave the final judgement to Struber. If Mads is still in situ come February, he can't be a complete duffer.

I honestly think that the only difference in the last few games is that Odour has been a big improvement at the side of him so he's had a lot less opportunities to make mistakes. No coincidence that Odour was outplayed against derby (no criticism of odour here) and Andersen had a stinker.

I think diaby is the better player out of the two but that's in a similar way as saying I think Boris is a better person than Donald.

I’m only a fan and no expert, but both of the central defenders look like ideal signings to develop. It’s a very brave and unique decision to have them as our first team partnership at this level with about 50 games between them. But that’s where we are. And no doubt they will develop. But in time? Doubtful.

Mads said in his interview that yes, I am learning on the job. Which sums it up.

I disagree on Oduor though. I thought there was only Lowe, the Derby full back who was on his level. Clarke was superb.

Shame he decided to totally switch off and watch Derby’s 2nd goal.

No offence, but based on your historical posts, I'm surprised you're still watching us.

Caught upfield wasn't he? I'd be looking at Mowatt for not stopping the cross and in particular Diaby who completely lost Waghorn. Watch it back. I did a few times. I don't want Diaby in the team again based on that. He just leaves him.

I agree with Jake that Mowatt having got to his nan shoukd gave done better with seeing the ball out of play Having said that Derby as a team played better on the night than we did as a team. And that's a collective responsibility.

He has improved in recent games to be fair. But the standard he has improved to is still very poor.

Our defence, especially the centre halves, have too many mistakes in them but I think there is potential in them. What they need is an experienced head playing alongside.

They may well make mistakes today and we might get away with them but as we've seen too often in the championship their mistakes are punished.

What worries me about Andersen is I simply can't see any potential there at all.

If you had to list his strong points what would they be? I've tried doing the same and all I can come up with is that he's tall but that's not enough.
