is there a chance we will see him in a red shirt? Seems like he should be able to content for one of the striker positions
I won't here any news on that side of things anymore pal. I'll pick up a few bits from other people I know, but not much. My feeling is that we won't be able to offload him, so a loan would suit all parties. He's a hell of a player, I think we'd be insane to let him go.
We buy to make a profit. We've got plenty of time to develop him and his value because he's certainly still got the potential. A loan makes sense if we haven't room for him at the moment.
A lot of the Donny fans all said he was very inconsistent and would play really well for a couple of,games and then go missing for a lot more. Shame really, I was one who said before we showed interest he was one we should look at based on the games I saw of him.
I heard that Struber decided from day one to stamp his authority on the squad and that was by outcasting the stronger personalities of the squad. He went straight for Wilks by all accounts but didn’t give him chance to prove himself. Didn’t have a one to one, just outed him of the first team squad to make an example He’s gone off the advice of Adam Murray, you don’t have to be Einstein to see who else he doesn’t rate and Wilks isn’t ill either, that was made up The guy who told me this isn’t saying that Struber is a bad apple cause he really rates him but he feels he could’ve dealt with Malik a lot better. There’s definitely a player in there but Struber doesn’t think Malik can fit the way he likes to play
Wilkes is a nasty piece of work. Had he played more often than he has he would have been sent off sooner rather than later - with the deliberate fouls he commits.
I agree but I also think that's what we've been missing. I love a good shithouse, someone who riles the opposition. How many times has it happened to us? We've been to nice at times this season, we need shithousery.
True mate. This guy I know who knows wilks and Odour personally is usually bang on the money. He’s the one who told me about the odour deal ages ago He was saying that odour was getting loads of flack from people when he moved to us. Saying he should’ve stayed and fought for his place. I wouldn’t say it was a bad move for all parties really
Wonder if that played on his mind earlier on the season since hes been great in this recent run of matches.
