Hope he starts on Saturday. We need players who are ready from game 1. Being a Meltham lad Jordan Williams would be upset at missing out, but we need clean sheets so the defence needs tweaking as we are running out of games.

I think the board have done well here, they seem to realise they're wrong to write off with experience and loans. I don't want a squad of 29 year olds, i think we all just wanted 2 experienced heads in the 11 to guide these talented young lads thru 90 mins. Yes this lad is only a baby, but from what I've gathered online is that he can reach the very top.

Well done Paul Conway and Dane Murphy.

Also it appears we have changed tact by not bringing in a loan with view to permanent. Seems he's highly rated where he is and we are just lucky to have him. They haven't sent him here to bench warm.

They’ve tweaked the policy here with a loan so fair play I say..... now let’s see if he’s any good

Well to be honest a couple more loans in key areas wouldnt hurt, yes it might mean developing someone elses players but if it means we stay in the league then i think that is something worthwhile.

    Mixed views on this.
Great to see flexibility in plan to take a loan, clearly they have backed Struber again, highly rated player too, but he has only played at a League 2 level in Austria so is he what we need now.
But ultimately Struber must believe he is.

The only way that this makes sense is if the young man (very young man), is having a look at the country in order to decide if he can adapt to living here.

Do you think his mother knows he's left the house? She'll have called the police by now.

Most important thing here for me is the board showing flexibility in the plan. Hopefully they’ve acknowledged it was too rigid and inflexible and we need to mix it up slightly. Always good to see when someone can admit past mistakes.

I would imagine he's cover for both full back positions assuming Cavere will be leaving.

I was only saying to my mate before Christmas that all our defence needs is a 19 year old with 11 appearances in the Austrian second division and the defence will be sorted. Agree with Struber, key target, and like the rest in this thread I'm over the moon. Hope we get some more from the Austrian league, they perform so well for us.

Not knocking the new signings as we haven't seen them in action yet but are we really flexing the plan as a couple have said?

Stendel brought in Radlinger who was over 25 and Bahre on an initial loan I think? Struber appears to have been given a couple of his own choices to sign outside of that.

Im not seeing anything different as yet...
