My first visit to Crewe last week, and I really like the look of their main stand. I thought it would look good, and even match what we already have at Oakwell.

Not been to Crewe since I think 1999 when we won 1-0. I seem to remember them having a big main stand that looked out of place with the rest of the ground

Thought how good it looked on the video of the game.

It's a bit plain, but to be honest anything is better than what we have now. And I say this as a huge West Stand fan, but sadly it's no longer remotely fit for purpose.

Personally I'd like to see something with a gable incorporated, like the Main Stand at Meadow Lane, or a smaller version of the John Street stand at Bramall Lane.

Do you think Crewe would notice if it went missing?

It’s a good looking stand - but it’s not what we need ut WELL.
IMO - we need something that is the same height as the Ponty and ties into it at the corner - but has a row of boxes.

Correct. Do what Charlton and United did and fill in the corners.

Can't see demand for boxes. Could be wrong.
Something simple with better bar and bog facilities, a camera gantry and a gable in the centre with Barnsley Football Club on it as a nod to the old West stand - job done

Been saying it for ages, a wrap round stand from ponty to north stand.
