No mate, there's a section further down the list for the free one. So just add one ticket in the adult box and then scroll down and add one in the adult free one. Assuming it's for two adults ofcourse.
Yep that's what I'm doing but it says I'm trying to buy too many. No idea why, I'll keep trying anyway..
So is it season ticket holders buy one and another season ticket holder gets a free one or can a season ticket holder get a free ticket for anyone
Tried to get the box office but rerouted to ticketmaster. Operative there said sales are for season ticket holders only. It says general sale on the website so definitely a mess and a total waste of time.
I think they're on general sale but the free ticket offer is only available to season ticket holders. Maybe that's what's causing the issues Edit: They're now back on, purchase has gone through ok this time
Can’t buy for non season ticket holders in any way so deffo not on general sale whatever it says on the website.
It’s sorted now for all. Just for clarity, can get one free ticket for someone who is already a season ticket holder. Have to assign it to them in the free ticket slot! Can also buy tickets for non season ticket holders.
It’s got me riled a bit this ( not too much!). It’s just cost me £48 extra to buy the tickets than for home supporters. The free tickets are available to anyone on the Charlton website but restricted to season ticket holders on our site. Who will have decided that? Is it in line with Football League policy? I’ll ask them.
If that's the case 'it's a swizz'. Let me know how you get on. For what it's worth I will be getting a ticket and am more than happy to pass the free one on to any Colleagues who intend to travel down. Just let me have your details so I can work my way through the bureaucracy of the system.
I've just been on to get a ticket and had no difficulties in getting the second free ticket. It did NOT have to be assigned to a Reds Reserved or any other type of ST holder (though I am a Reds Reserved ST holder). Seems it is available to any BFC fan who wants to attend the match - as it should be. Well done the Club and CAFC.
