Green Joins Newport County On Loan Club News Reds winger Jordan Green has joined Newport County on loan for the remainder of the season. Continue reading on the official site...
Makes sense. We don't have to rush him out the door as he's still got plenty of time left on his contract. If he does well there he may still have a future here like when Mowatt went to Oxford. At the very least he will be in the shop window if we still deem him surplus to requirements.
Needs game time , so a good move for both . Hopefully he comes back and as good as Mowatt when he went out on loan
Win-win for all concerned. Very raw, but quick and skillful. Should do well at that level. Good luck Jordan.

Off topic, but on the official site, Wilks is down in the under-23 squad, and Matty Wolfe in the first-team. I hope he gets a chance after his injury troubles. Looked a good prospect when I saw him a few years ago.
Oh dear about Wilks. Genuinely seems like he has no future with us. What a shame if so, he's obviously got the ability. He's a young lad who's had a difficult life. Sounds like he needs an arm round him.
they were flying earlier in the season and looked well on for a top six finish, the wheels came off a bit but they are still in touch just about.
Good move for everybody. He now gets the opportunity to get some games and hopefully further develop. Players need to play, especially those who are trying to develop and realise their potential. Far too many young players simply aren't getting enough games all through the leagues for various reasons and the only way to know how good they can be is by testing them out regularly. Good luck to Jordan.
To be honest, I’ve not really seen anything to suggest he’ll make it here, particularly if (when?) we stay in the league. He’s not exactly young for our squad either. However, game time for the rest of the season could change everything so good luck Jordan.
I don’t know how he fits into the system we play. Maybe as a 10? Good luck to him, but one would assume he won’t play for us again. He was great against Southend last season. Came on and won about 5 free kicks through frustration, their full back could not cope. Then scored a tap in. Kid needs to play and should be good there. But a Championship player? Not for me.
Good luck to the lad. Hopefully, it works well for all parties concerned. Depending on how the rest of the season pans out, the situation can be reassessed in the Summer.
