    I agree that he should face punishment if he's guilty, but I can't fault someone for using a technicality to their advantage. Don't blame them, blame the fact that the technicality exists.

    Maybe so but Beckham was idolised by millions and holding his hands up and saying he was stupid would have sent out a strong message not to speed . Likewise with drink driving and Oli. You are not only guilty because a court of law has found you to be.

    Firm disagree on that one. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. It’s important we uphold that fact even in ‘grey area’ cases, whatever bad taste that may leave in the mouth afterwards.

    I meant that the person in question knows. So if I know I've speeded even if a court of law says I haven't, I know I have speeded.
